“Balancing Intensity with Intelligence”

Coach Jim Kielbaso discusses the prevailing tendency of many to view the value of a training session by the amount of fatigue felt at the end of the session. He points out that when training athletes, high-quality work is important and that intelligent programming does not mean that the strength and conditioning coach should be crushing his or her athletes every training session.
