“The Death of Steady State Cardio”

Fitness professional Rachel Cosgrove shares her thoughts on the efficacy of utilizing steady-state aerobic training (e.g., a long, slow jog) for the purposes of reducing body fat. Rachel does not condemn steady-state aerobic training for those people that enjoy such activities or those training to compete in an endurance sport, but she does come down against it as the primary form of training for those looking to lose body fat.
