“Should Your Workout Kick Your Ass?”

Fitness professional Sean Hyson makes the case that your fat-loss workout regimen should not be a series of miserable experiences. He goes on to provide some practical tips on eating and training to meet your fat-loss goals.

As a fitness professional, I know that people often judge a workout by how badly their “ass was kicked.” While you should train with intensity, that doesn’t mean that you have to pound yourself into the ground on a daily basis. Post-workout pain/soreness should not be the goal of a training session. It may be the outcome of a challenging workout, but it shouldn’t be the goal.
