“Strength & Conditioning Tip of the Week”

Coach Mike Gentry demonstrates how Virginia Tech student-athletes are taught to perform the hang snatch. The progression is a jump shrug with a snatch grip from the hang position, then the high pull with a snatch grip from the hang position, and finally the hang snatch.

Coach Gentry is scheduled to speak at the 2015 Jeff Connors’ Strength and Conditioning Clinic in Greenville, North Carolina. Also scheduled to present at this event are coaches Jeff Connors, Al Johnson, and Ethan Reeve.
