This is not an April Fools’ Day trick! Here is my post from this day last year. Learn why those people blaming lactic acid are playing you for a fool. 🙂

“Lactic Acid: Wrongly Accused”

No trick here ladies and gentlemen on this April 1st, 2014. This article from ELITETRACK.com’s Mike Young, seeks to exonerate lactic acid in the eyes of the coaching community and the general public. In spite of what is now known in the field of exercise physiology, many people still cling to the mistaken idea that lactic acid is responsible for the burning muscles and other symptoms commonly associated with anaerobic exercise/conditioning. On this day where playing tricks on others is accepted, if not downright celebrated, I thought I would step above the “foolishness” and pass on some legitimate knowledge. Have a fantastic April Fools’ Day!
